There was a time in Kylie Minogue’s career when it failed to even remotely approach anything even slightly resembling the meaning of the word “career”, which is a shame as the stuff she produced during that period was actually very decent and much more accomplished than some of the turds she’s polished recently.

No gold hotpants, no fancy effects, not man-of-the-moments producer – just a straightforward pop song and a clever video where Kylie plays herself at five different points in her career.
