Guru “No Time To Play”
October 9, 2008Guru’s 1993 single “No Time To Play” was taken from the groundbreaking album “Jazzamatazz Vol. 1“. It features influential jazz guitarist Ronny Jordan, and former Wham! backing singer and ex-Mrs. Paul Weller Dee C. Lee provides additional vocals on the chorus.
The single is funky, jazzy and very optimistic-sounding record and sounds nothing like a lot of the rap music produced at this time.
